DSP32C - assembler function timings

Example timings for various functions on a Lucent DSP32C processor running at 80 MHz are as follows:

Function Description Time
FFT1k 1024 point complex FFT 2.11 ms
FFTa 1024 point FFT on real data only 1.31 ms
iFFT 1024 point inverse FFT 2.84 ms
FIR FIR filter (5 coefficients) 1.74 us
FIRc complex FIR filter (5 coefficients) 4.83 us
IIRd IIR filter (direct form II cascade of 4 second order sections with 5 multiplies/section) 1.78 us
osc return a sample from a sinusoidal oscillator 0.51 us
tone return a sample from a tone pair 0.68 us
divf fast (but less accurate) divide 0.95 us
